Look, when dealing with someone who obviously has, well, issues, we should be as tinder as possible. But X users were less than understanding of Sam Mena Jr’s lunacy, and it’s probably understandable. Some typical examples:

While this may well be Sam Mena’s claim to flame, it’s also a great example of just how unhinged the far left has become. And Sam is a great example; a line from his blog is telling:

No, Sam, you are not a mediator. It’s not your job, as a journalist, to mediate information, just to present it. If you’re going to call yourself a journalist, you must strike that line and that notion from your profile and from your day-to-day presumptions. Remember, you’re just a reporter, and now, I might add, an unemployed one.
Sam will, of course, do no such thing. As if supporting Hamas wasn’t enough, as if claiming Israel is conducting “genocide” wasn’t enough, Sam has to go and take the half-measure of setting one arm on fire. His left arm, at that – assuming he’s right-handed, like most folks, well, that’s just a pedestrian effort.
