White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is certainly a huge upgrade from the former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. Not only can she give answers that are actually responsive to the questions, but they are strong and intelligent on behalf of the administration, communicating the Trump agenda.
She’s already demonstrated that she’s obviously a great choice for the job
During the Monday briefing, she gave an epic response to a question from Fox’s Peter Doocy regarding the nasty crack from a French politician about wanting the Statue of Liberty back.

But then she also just leveled CNN’s Kaitlan Collins when she was asked about the autopen scandal involving Joe Biden.
First, she settled the issue of Biden’s cognitive decline, noting that “We all know that to be true.” She explained that Trump, in his social media post, was raising the question of whether Biden even knew about what was being signed in the pardons that he gave, for example.
Leavitt explained it wasn’t just Trump raising the question, but there were questions from within the Biden White House about whether Biden was aware of it, according to what sources told the NY Post.

Leavitt said she thought everyone should be looking into this because it could be criminal if staff members were signing without that consent.
Collins said Biden was on record talking about preemptive pardons regarding the people in question.
“But was he aware of his signature being used on every single pardon?” Leavitt asked.
Collins replied, “Do you have any evidence on that?”
That’s when Leavitt smoked her.
“You’re a reporter; you should find out,” Leavitt admonished her.
Exactly! The story about the pardons and the problem of the autopen has been floating out there for a while. CNN is only addressing it now — and only questioning Trump’s comment, not questioning the problem with Biden’s signature. How about doing your job and finding those sources the NY Post did and looking into it more?
As Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) observed, Biden didn’t seem to remember something he had signed when Johnson asked him about it. If the Biden White House doesn’t pony up the evidence, how do we know whether he approved or didn’t? Plus, this is a slippery slope that Barack Obama started to begin with. Trump and the Missouri Attorney General have called for an investigation.
You should NOT be having executive orders, pardons, or legislation signed with an autopen. The Trump team isn’t doing that, but it looks like this could put all kinds of things that Biden “signed” into question.
