President Donald Trump fulfilled yet another promise that many people had wanted for a long time — signing an executive order to release all the files in regard to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr. What was particularly touching was after signing the order, he directed that the pen be given to RFK Jr., his nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services. “And everything will be revealed,” Trump declared.

The order dictates they have to come up with a plan within 15 days for the release of all the files on JFK, and a plan within 45 days for RFK and MLK Jr.
RFK Jr. had been one of the people pressing Trump to finally release the files, and he was grateful for the action. He called it a “great move” by Trump. He thought this would bring “more transparency” and that Trump was “keeping his promise to have the government tell the truth to the American people about everything.”
MLK’s family said they wanted to review the files first, before they were released.
But the reaction from Jack Schlossberg, the son of Caroline Kennedy and grandson of JFK, was bizarre. I don’t know what is going on in his head, perhaps some major league TDS. But he’s known for posting bizarre things.

What does that even mean? “Political prop when he’s not here to punch back.” JFK was the victim, why would he want to punch back at more transparency? That doesn’t even make sense. If there is nothing more to it than what we already know, then the release will tell us that too. It’s a win-win situation. How is this a “political prop” — it would have been safer politically for Trump to ignore it and not do it. Why would you argue against greater transparency? And it isn’t just about what Schlossberg thinks when we’re talking about a former president of the United States — we all deserve the complete truth.
Trump didn’t do it in his first term after pleas from the CIA and the FBI. So that has to make you wonder what is it that those agencies didn’t want you to know? That certainly tends to lend ammo to the folks thinking they don’t want things out that might come back on them. But it’s not holding Trump back this time, and it’s all going to come out.
