President Donald Trump is carrying a lead into Election Day both in the battleground states RealClearPolitics polling average – 0.9 percent – and in the national vote in the full field, he’s up 0.3.

The Democrats and the media have thrown everything they can against the wall at Trump from their warmed-over Hitler attacks to twisting everything he said in the last week into something he didn’t say. But he’s still ahead and there’s also reason to indicate that once again, the polls may be underestimating his strength and not properly polling all his support.

Plus, the early vote numbers have generally been sounding good for the Republicans.

That leaves the Democrats in a scrambling position. So now the Harris team is issuing a warning about Pennsylvania that is likely to raise some eyebrows about possible funny business while they expect results from Georgia, North Carolina, and Michigan by the end of the night, they’re saying that we might not the results for the other battlegrounds for “days.”

On Wednesday and beyond,  they expect additional results from Pennsylvania, Arizona and Nevada.

“We may not know the results of this election for several days, but we are very focused on staying calm and confident throughout this period as the process goes through,” said campaign Chair Jen O’Malley Dillon.

When Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), a Harris surrogate and campaign co-chair, was grilled on Fox News about how the early voting in Pennsylvania was favoring the Republicans,  said on Fox News they “would not have results here in Pennsylvania for several days.”

No way, not this nonsense again, to wait for just enough votes to trickle in. Why would it take that long? There is no justification for this. But they’re already trying to prep us for it. So let the speculation begin if they start this nonsense again on Tuesday night. As Katie Pavlich at our sister site Townhall said, “Here we go.”

But as John Roberts noted, the early voting is favoring a positive result for Trump in PA, so unless something comes in to upend it, Trump is likely to win. So I think this game might not work if he’s so clearly ahead on Tuesday night.

CNN’s Van Jones is “nervous.”

And he should be. I think the advantage is Trump at this point, barring funny business, if that early vote bears out to the logical conclusion.

But we shall see.
