On Wednesday, in Tennessee, Edixon Murillo-Antunez was arrested and is facing multiple charges resulting from a six-mile shooting spree. Murillo-Antunez is being held for charges including multiple criminal homicides.
According to court documents, investigators determined Edixon Murillo-Antunez injured two juveniles and four occupied vehicles were hit by gunfire during the shooting spree from the park to the 300 block of North Main Street in Goodlettsville.
Murillo-Antunez was taken into custody without incident and charged with four counts of attempted criminal homicide, 10 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felony weapon possession, felony reckless endangerment and driving without a license. His bond was set at $880,500.
Murillo-Antunez’s arrest record shows he is also on an ICE detainer – which would appear to indicate that, yes, he is in the country illegally.

This would indicate that the Murillo-Antunez case, which has resulted in multiple deaths and injuries, is yet another failure of the Harris/Biden immigration policy – or, more properly, the lack thereof.

It’s more accurate, of course, to say that this is because of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the Harris/Biden administration’s non-enforcement of our southern border. There have been literally millions of people flooding across the southern border since 2021, and as we have noted repeatedly, many of them are unknown quantities.
They are processed and released into the United States with minimal screening, and all too often, this kind of event is the result. And, we should note, Kamala Harris was assigned to deal with the “root causes” of our woes at the southern border early on in Joe Biden’s term, whether she accepts the term “Border Czar” or not, it was her baby – and as we see, once again, she has utterly failed.
Kamala Harris, of course, not only sees no issue with the millions of people in the country illegally – she wants to reward them with an expedited “pathway to citizenship.”

Meanwhile, there are plenty of people waiting to enter the United States legally, who have followed the process, and who are getting the short end of the stick by being forced to watch people who have come in illegally cut the line ahead of them.
It’s a travesty. It’s a disaster. And it can’t continue.
