Hailee Steinfeld stepped out at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars Party without fiancé Josh Allen.
The 28-year-old actress shimmered in a silver gown paired with a black cape draped over her shoulders while walking the red carpet on Sunday, March 2, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. Although she was solo for the night, Steinfeld’s engagement ring was secured on her left hand.
While inside the event, Steinfeld was spotted interacting with several stars, including Timothée Chalamet, Eiza González, Halle Bailey and Elle Fanning. Steinfeld was all smilesduring her chat with Bailey, 24, as they looked at something on the singer’s phone.
Steinfeld’s solo outing comes after she and Allen, 28, made their red carpet debut at the NFL Honors last month. The newly engaged couple held hands while posing for photos at the event in New Orleans on February 6. Allen took home the award for Most Valuable Player at the event and offered Steinfeld a sweet shoutout as she watched his speech from the crowd.
“Last but not least, my fiancée, Hailee,” Allen said, in part. “You’ve been my rock. You are my best friend [and] I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you. So, with that being said, be good, do good, God bless and Go Bills.”

The couple, who have been together since 2023, got engaged late last year. Allen got down on one knee during a waterfront proposal in November 2024.
“I was very nervous. I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,” Allen told Steinfeld in a December 2024 issue of her “Beau Society” newsletter. “It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then, multiple times throughout the day a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”
Steinfeld has since revealed that she had no idea how the proposal was going to go down.
“You talk to your girlfriends about that, right, where you’re like, ‘I just don’t want to know,’” Steinfeld told Who What Wear last month, noting that she was “so grateful” for how he popped the question. “We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That’s the word.”
However, sharing details about their impending wedding is off the table — for now at least.
“When you realize that so much is already out there in every other aspect of your life, you really learn to cherish the little that isn’t,” she explained. “It just makes things extra special, and it’s just for you.”
