Donald Trump campaigned on the promise of being transparent with the American people, vowing to unseal records on things like the JFK assassination, the Epstein files, and UFOs. We’ve already seen the fruits of that promise in the form of Elon Musk and DOGE uncovering gobs of money being spent on ridiculous “foreign aid” projects and Attorney General Pam Bondi attempting to unseal the Epstein records (more on that here from our own fearless leader, Jen Van Laar.)

But there’s one mystery lingering out there that hasn’t gotten much play recently: Who the heck left their baggy of cocaine in a bin at the Biden White House back in July of 2023? We all have our own thoughts on who that may be, given that a well-known druggy was afforded the privilege of making the White House his home for the last four years. And, as it turns out, President Trump has his own thoughts on who might be the culprit.

The topic of that infamous baggy of cocaine came up as the president gave his first magazine interview to Ben Domenech—who is, of course, an OG here at RedState—and The Spectator World. The interview took place in the Oval Office, and Ben “went there” by asking Trump, “So … who actually left the cocaine in the White House?”

The president had some thoughts.

“Well, either Joe or Hunter. Could be Joe, too. OK, so that was such a terrible thing because, you know, those bins are very loaded up with … they’re not clean, and they have hundreds and even thousands of fingerprints,” Trump answered. “And when they went to look at it, it was absolutely stone cold, wiped dry. You know that, right?”

Oh, we know that. RedState was all over the story, reporting on the fact that the Secret Service and Joe Biden himself knew who it belonged to but had no intention of telling the public. Biden was somehow still considered a serious 2024 presidential candidate back then, and the revelation that someone close to him was doing blow in the People’s House might have harmed his aspirations for a second term.

Here’s more of the exchange between Ben and Trump:

DOMENECH: “See? Well, because, I mean, I was briefly a Bush speechwriter. And so I knew exactly what they were talking about. And I was like, ‘those things are filthy.’ They’re filthy,” Domenech said.

TRUMP: “And there were fingerprints. I mean, if you went to one, maybe we’re cleaner, but if you went to one at any time, you would see hundreds,” Trump responded. “Everybody in there would leave a fingerprint when they went in and that thing was wiped out with, with the strongest form of alcohol.”

The Democrat Party and their accomplices in the Secret Service and the FBI might think this story is old news, but the president cautioned that the case may not be closed just yet.

“By the way, and I have to tell you, I think I’m going to look into that because it was … bad stuff happened there,” Trump told Domenech.

It would be too much to hope that the hammer of justice is visited upon the guilty party because…pardons. But, Americans sure would love to have the “mystery” solved once and for all!
