Gallego Leading in AZ Senate Results, Addresses Supporters at Dem HQ

Congressman Ruben Gallego addressed supporters at an Election Night party at Democrat headquarters on Tuesday night, after incoming results seems to show he will defeat Republican candidate Kari Lake, and become the next U.S. senator from Arizona. 





Rep. Gallego currently leads former Phoenix newscaster Lake 54.0 percent to 44.4 percent (with about 33 percent of ballots counted), according to Decision Desk HQ:





As I wrote earlier, Arizonans continued to vote during extended hours (until 9 p.m. MST) at nine polling places in Apache County, after a judge approved a filing by Navajo Nation officials over tech issues and printers malfunctioning there.
