RWC Canberra commercial property expert Frank Giorgi has been appointed Managing Director of the business, after operating as director and major shareholder for many years.

After working in the property industry for eight years, Mr Giorgi has developed broad real estate experience having worked with some of the major institutional agencies and a suite of local operators.

“When the opportunity came to move into business ownership with Ben and the team at RWC, I jumped at it,” Mr Giorgi said.

“My goal now as the managing director of RWC Canberra is for the whole business to grow year on year, including my own industrial business unit.

“The managing director role won’t bog me down, it will be a springboard to expand our business even further.”

Mr Giorgi has been integral in the growth of the business, which has increased by over 50 per cent in the last three years.

Ray White Canberra Group Chairman Ben Faulks said it was a proud day for the business to see Frank step into the Managing Director role.

“I’ve known Frank for more than 20 years, and he’s a great human being. Passionate, energetic with a work ethic that’s second to none,” Mr Faulks said.

“Not only does he make the workplace fun, but he is always trying to get better, to find a way to go.

“People want to work with Frank, and he’s already shown a huge aptitude for finding great people to bring into the business, and then helping them move closer to their own ambition.

“Frank has really been operating in the Managing Director role for the past 18 months, this just formalises his leadership position and provides a clear direction to the marketplace of where the future of the RWC Canberra business sits.

“His market knowledge is second to none, helped by a huge capacity to learn and retain figures and financial information”

Mr Giorgi continues a proud family tradition of business owners, having grown up working in his parents’ Muffin Break store before branching out into hospitality to open a chicken shop in partnership with his brother for a decade.

“I had to get up early and do the baking, serve our repeat customers, and then with the chicken shop it was all about speed of service and building and managing a team. I put my work ethic and focus on the customer experience down to my time spent working alongside my family,” Mr Giorgi said.

Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White, credited Mr Giorgi with helping to expand the business footprint in the ACT.

“What Frank has done alongside Ben and the broader Ray White Canberra team is a credit to their ability to build a great culture, and to set ambitious goals for their people,” Mr White said.

“Frank is a committed leader, highly motivated, and we look forward to supporting him and the RWC Canberra team in chasing their potential.”
