Francesca Eastwood will reportedly not be facing charges for her domestic violence arrest earlier this year.
According to TMZ, the District Attorney has decided not to prosecute because there was insufficient evidence. The publication also reported on Sunday, December 1, that Francesca’s boyfriend turned down medical treatment following the October incident and would not cooperate with the police. (Us Weekly has reached out for comment.)
News broke in mid-October that the 31-year-old daughter of famed director Clint Eastwood was arrested in Beverly Hills. TMZ initially reported that Francesca had allegedly gotten into a physical and verbal argument with her boyfriend on October 12. The unnamed boyfriend apparently called the police and TMZ’s report alleged that he had visible injuries. Both Francesca and her boyfriend were spoken to by law enforcement at the Beverly Hills Police Department.
Us Weekly confirmed at the time that police officers investigated the allegations, leading to Francesca’s felony domestic violence arrest.
Daily Mail later claimed that Francesca had been released on $50,000 bail. (Us Weekly reached out to Francesca’s team at the time. She has not spoken publicly about the arrest.)
Francesca was last linked to actor Alexander Wraith, with whom she shares a 6-year-old son named Titan. Police did not confirm if the alleged victim was Wraith. Francesca often posts with Titan in various social media posts, but Wraith hasn’t made an appearance on her Instagram since July. Wraith, however, shared various Instagram posts featuring Francesca late last month.
Prior to her arrest, Francesca spoke with Us exclusively about being a mother to Titan. The former Mrs. Eastwood & Company star said that her son loves watching his grandfather’s films.
“[Titan] loves watching his old movies, he loves the Dirty Harry movies,” Francesca gushed to Us. “And it’s great because a lot of them I haven’t seen, so I get to kind of watch some of these movies that I never saw because we never sat down and watched them growing up.”
She said that Titan “wants to be a director” because of Clint, 94. “To see him have this understanding at such a young age, and this curiosity that I’m definitely trying to feed into as much as possible, is really fun,” she added.
Francesca also spoke candidly about coparenting with Wraith — but didn’t offer too many details about where their relationship stands now.
“We’re getting there,” she told Us candidly. “There’s always room for improvement.”
