We reported earlier about how MSNBC’s ratings tanked last week after President-elect Donald Trump’s big election win. Sounds like people were not very happy with MSNBC after the election didn’t turn out the way they thought it would. People were completely unprepared, and you can still see them melting down all over X, trying to understand why Kamala Harris lost.

On top of the ratings going south since the election, Comcast is also considering splitting off MSNBC and other media like CNBC into another company, with some speculating that may be the prelude to a sale. That would certainly shake up the “talent” at that network, as that could end up with them out on their ears.

But it turns out MSNBC isn’t the only liberal media outlet in trouble. So is CNN.

We reported how CNN and Chris Wallace parted ways.  More may now be coming.

Less Than a Week After Trump’s Win, Chris Wallace Announces He’s Out at CNN

CNN’s ratings have been tanking. CNN was the worst in Election Night coverage among MSNBC and Fox. with only 5.1 million primetime viewers. It was beaten out by MSNBC, which had 6 million, and Fox News, which had almost twice as much with 10 million.

CNN’s viewership has broadly suffered, particularly since the election. CNN has averaged a dismal 413,000 total day viewers since Election Day compared to 2.2 million for Fox News Channel.

It has been reported that CNN’s biggest talent could face pay cuts as a result of the company’s restructuring and whether they choose to remain at the network, many of which have spent decades on its airwaves, or walk away.

As a result, CNN will also be implementing sweeping layoffs of hundreds of people.

While most of the layoffs will be in production, they will also likely affect “some of the on-air talent.”

Senior hosts like Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper have already both been denied raises. It’s not clear yet who might be on the chopping block.

The highest paid stars include Anderson Cooper – who rakes in $20million a year – Erin Burnett ($6million) and rising star Kaitlan Collins ($3million).

It would be great if most of them got the heave-ho. But they’re never going to get any audience back until they start being about the news and not about whatever the latest liberal talking point is. And part of that is clearing out the biased dead weight.

But who do the CNN “talent” blame for the problems? Politicians criticizing them. How dare they?

That’s the problem right there — they don’t think about their obligation to the people or how they can do their job. It’s the fault of the politicians for pushing “lies” and the people for believing “lies,” not their own fault.

It sounds like both CNN and MSNBC are being battered by reality, whether they want to accept it or not.
