Ferdi Kadioglu on course to be available for Brighton's clash against Ipswich

Brighton & Hove Albion’s new signing Ferdi Kadioglu says he is available for Saturday’s Premier League home game against Ipswich Town.

Kadioglu sustained a minor thigh injury in training after completing a £25million ($33m) move from Fenerbahce last month.

It ruled the full-back out of a potential Premier League debut in the 1-1 draw at Arsenal before the September international break.

The injury also prevented Kadioglu from joining up with Turkey’s Nations League squad for last Friday’s 0-0 draw against Wales in Cardiff and Monday’s 3-1 home win against Iceland.

The 24-year-old is now back on course for a place in the plans of head coach Fabian Hurzeler.

Kadioglu told The Athletic: “The last two days I joined a full training session with the team. So, hopefully the next game I will be in the squad.”

Kadioglu was among nine new signings made by Brighton during the summer transfer window at an overall cost of nearly £200m ($261m).

They are third in the table below Manchester City and Liverpool after the opening three league games of Hurzeler’s reign, having won 3-0 at Everton and 2-1 at home to Manchester United before the draw with Arsenal.
