FAW-Volkswagen JV to launch 11 new models in China

FAW-Volkswagen will prioritise offering a range of software offerings tailored to the Chinese market in its 2026-2030 lineup. By Stewart Burnett

Volkswagen has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinese state-owned automaker FAW Group laying out their joint venture (JV) plans for the coming years. The JV, FAW-Volkswagen, will launch 11 new models for the Chinese market between the years 2026-2030 around established manufacturing and procurement principles of “in China, for China”.
