Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson put their past behind them to celebrate Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary.
The reality star, 44, and the comedian, 31, were both spotted at the filming of the SNL 50 special on Sunday, February 16. Kardashian sparkled in a fitted silver column Balenciaga dress, walking the red carpet ahead of Davidson. He sported a navy suit with a striped button-down shirt underneath.
During the broadcast, Kardashian appeared in one of the first sketches — a version of Kristen Wiig‘s “Doo-neice” and sisters sketch with Will Farrell and Maya Rudolph. At one point, Wiig, 51, even pretended to play drums on Kardashian’s derrière.
Earlier this month, NBC confirmed Kardashian would appear on the live three-hour broadcast, which honored the series’ 50th anniversary with cameos from former cast members and special guests, musical performances and throwback sketches. Kardashian previously hosted an October 2021 episode of Saturday Night Live, while Davidson served as a cast member for eight seasons from 2014 to 2022.

During Kardashian’s hosting stint, she and Davidson shared a kiss as part of a sketch, but he waited until after her appearance on the show to ask her out, a source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly in November 2021.
“He was a true professional the whole time they rehearsed and in between takes, but afterward things got flirty,” the insider said at the time. “They exchanged numbers and Pete asked if Kim would like to hang out sometime, which she agreed to straight away.”
Although the two had “bumped into each other a few times through mutual friends” in the past, Kardashian’s appearance on the NBC series gave them “their first real one-on-one opportunity to connect.”

During a June 2022 episode of The Kardashians, Kardashian shared her version of the events that led to her relationship with Davidson.
“I did Saturday Night Live, and then when we kissed in a scene, it was just a vibe. I was like, ‘Oh, s–t. Maybe I just need to try something different,’” she recalled. “But Pete does not come to my afterparty and everyone was at my afterparty. He is not giving me the time of day.”
Kardashian eventually reached out to Davidson after feeling the spark between them.
“So, a few days later, I called the producer at SNL and was like, ‘Hey, do you have Pete’s number?’ I text him,” she recounted. “I wasn’t even thinking, ‘I am going to be in a relationship with him.’ I was just thinking, ‘Heard about this BDE, I need to get out there.’ I was basically DTF [down to f–k].”
After less than one year of dating, a source confirmed to Us in August 2022 that Kardashian and Davidson had “amicably split.”
“There truly wasn’t drama between them when they decided to separate,” an insider told Us later that month. “It was something they talked through; it wasn’t a sudden breakup.”

Ultimately, the pair struggled to maintain their relationship amid their individual responsibilities.
“They each have busy schedules and the distance made it hard,” the insider continued. “Kim travels a ton and it was hard for Pete to keep up, especially with his filming schedule.”
The insider added that Kardashian and Davidson “had a lot of fun together” and could “look back with fond memories.”
Kardashian was subsequently linked to Odell Beckham Jr. from September 2023 to April 2024. Us later revealed in December 2024 that she is “dating someone new” but “keeping it very under wraps.”
As for Davidson, he moved on with Emily Ratajkowski from November to December 2022, Chase Sui Wonders from January to August 2023 and Madelyn Cline from September 2023 to July 2024.
