Everton have formally made a transfer bid to sign Jaden Philogene from Hull City.
The bid placed on Monday is understood to be in the region of £16million plus add-ons for the 22-year-old attacker.
Ipswich Town, newly promoted to the Premier League, have tabled a joint-bid of £35m for Philogene and Jacob Greaves.

Greaves has undergone a medical at Portman Road.
Crystal Palace are also known to be admirers of Philogene having seen Michael Olise leave for Bayern Munich over the weekend.
Philogene joined Hull in a £5m deal in September before going on to make 33 appearances across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and adding six assists.
The deal to take the academy product from Aston Villa included a buy-back option if Hull were promoted.
An England’s Under-21s international, Philogene has four caps for his country and has scored three goals.
