RWC CSR has expanded its property offering to open a property management division with the addition of renowned commercial asset manager Donna Alexander joining the team.

Ms Alexander has 14 years’ experience in the commercial property management industry, kicking off her career in 2010 as a retail property assistant at a privately owned Victoria Point shopping centre.

“I have been fortunate to manage amazing properties in all sectors, retail, commercial and industrial assisting major corporate commercial property agencies, private property owners, and REIT managed funds,” Ms Alexander said.

“I have had wonderful mentors who have guided my career and I am always thankful for the skills that they have taught and developed.

“I believe that you need to be open in learning something new everyday.

“Our industry has changed with the integration of AI, however, instead of being afraid of change embrace it.”

Known for her dedication and attention to detail, Ms Alexander’s approach is to conduct a comprehensive review of each property and each lease as she brings them on-board.

“A realistic Capex budget is established with the view to not just being compliant but mitigating risk for the owner,” she said.

“If we can save even one claim from occurring, it saves the owner from facing massive increases in premiums that routinely occur once a claim is made.”

Ms Alexander said there were many things she loved about commercial asset management.

“I love the relationships that you develop in asset management,” she said.

“I enjoy maintaining an asset, to ensure that it’s compliant and that both the owner and tenant are happy.”

“An asset manager does not just manage a lease. Clients benefit from an experienced person being focused on enhancing the value of their property, and a knowledgeable asset manager assisting in reducing their risk.”

Ms Alexander said she looked forward to growing the asset management arm of RWC CSR.

“With our office expanding our commercial asset management, we will develop a strong foundation of complete advice that will ensure ongoing growth,” she said.

“We use client-friendly software, Cirrus8 which is a cloud-based property management and accounting software.

“Landlords will be able to access the landlord portal 24/7 to view month-end reports and lease documents.”

RWC property management performance specialist Leteicha Wilson was excited to welcome Ms Alexander to the RWC family.

“It’s incredible to have a commercial asset manager of Donna’s calibre join our RWC team,” Ms Wilson said.

“Her comprehensive knowledge and expertise will be an asset not only to RWC CSR but to the entire RWC network.”
