DNC Hits Trump Where It Hurts With Scathing Supercut Aimed At His Newest Sore Spot

The Democratic National Convention on Tuesday debuted a new video hitting at what is rapidly becoming a major sore spot for Donald Trump: his weirdness.

Democratic politicians and others on the left have taken to describing Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), as “weird.”

And the former president doesn’t like it at all, as he’s repeatedly denied being weird in recent weeks.

The new clip is likely to push his buttons even more, calling him not only weird ― but dangerous:

The “weird” attacks are eating at Trump enough that he keeps bringing it up in interviews and at rallies.

“She actually called me ‘weird,’” he said last week of Vice President Kamala Harris. “And she called JD and I ‘weird.’ He’s not weird, he was a great student at Yale.”

At another event earlier this month, he said he and Vance are not weird but rather “very solid people” and “the opposite of weird.”

Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, said last month he uses the “weird” label for Trump and other figures on the right because it takes away their power to cause fear.

“The fascists depend on fear,” he said. “But we’re not afraid of weird people. We’re a little bit creeped out, but we’re not afraid.”
