Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), who is still auditioning to become the next AOC, went on an unhinged rant during an appearance on MSNBC, claiming the streets of Springfield, Ohio, are being overrun by gangs of MAGA white supremacists or something.
On Saturday’s episode of “Velshi,” Crockett, who is also the Harris-Walz campaign’s co-chair, claimed that former President Donald Trump and “his minions” are somehow responsible for the problems in Springfield, which garnered national attention due to the impact of a deluge of migrants coming into the city.
She said the former president is the cause of issues the city is facing, not “people that have come to make our economy stronger, the people that have actually been able to help to continue to make sure that we got out of the big hole that he put us in after COVID-19 with his ineptness.”
The lawmaker referenced widespread complaints about crime in major cities, especially those committed by gangs. “[Trump] said that we’ve got these cities and these towns that are being overrun by gangs and the crime out of control. I absolutely agree with that. And guess what? It is the MAGA gang, it is the white supremacists that have decided to descend upon places such as Springfield, OH,” she bloviated.
“So, I agree with him. I just disagree with who the problems are. The problems are him and his minions, the problems aren’t the people that have come to make our economy stronger, the people that have actually been able to help to continue to make sure that we got out of the big hole that he put us in after COVID-19 with his ineptness. Like, yeah, I agree that there are problems in our communities, but usually, it’s some white supremacists on the other side, and he has yet to call them out.”
Rep. Jasmine Crockett: We do have a problem of gangs overrunning towns and cities. I absolutely agree with that. But guess what? It’s the MAGA gang and the white supremacists. It’s not the illegal immigrants who have come to make our economy stronger.pic.twitter.com/Nvrhy0lTwt

Crockett did not provide any evidence backing up her claims of white supremacist gangs running around committing a series of crimes in major cities because she clearly made the whole thing up. But again, this is the playbook for this new class of gifter politicians who focus more on getting outrageous sound bites and looking good on camera than they do on policy.
The lawmaker’s claims raise a question I find myself asking quite often whenever leftists open their mouths: Are they stupid? Or do they just think the people they are addressing are stupid?
Perhaps its both in Crockett’s case.
But it is amazing that she can make these sweeping allegations that have about as much validity as Jussie Smollett’s claims about “MAGA Country” thugs assaulting him because he is Black and gay.
Meanwhile, Americans across the country are dealing with heightened crime rates in their cities and neighborhoods. It has become a prominent issue in this election season as people grow more concerned about criminal activity. But at least they know folks like Crockett are diligently on the lookout for white-hooded extremist gangs infesting their communities.
