The Kansas City Chiefs and Creed Humphrey agreed to a four-year, $72 million contract extension, a league source said Thursday. The deal makes Humphrey the highest-paid center in the NFL.

Humphrey, 25, was a Pro Bowl selection the last two seasons when the Chiefs took home back-to-back Super Bowl titles.

The Chiefs nabbed the 6-foot-4, 302-pound center out of Oklahoma with the 63rd pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He’s started every game possible for the Chiefs since, lining up in 51 straight regular-season games and an additional 10 playoff games.
