After falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter, the Steelers were fighting an uphill battle all game and not even a late flurry of fourth-quarter touchdowns were enough to salvage a victory as Pittsburgh dropped their first game of the season by a final score of 27-24.
The Colts had success running the ball against the Steelers’ front, totaling 133 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Jonathan Taylor was the main beneficiary, totaling 88 yards and the score. Joe Flacco, who replaced an injured Anthony Richardson, continued to ward off Father Time throwing for 168 yards and two touchdowns.
The deficit forced Pittsburgh to open up the offense for one of the first times this season and Justin Fields looked up to the task. He finished the day completing 22 of his 34 passes for 312 yards and a touchdown. Fields also ran for 55 yards and two scores, leading all quarterbacks in total fantasy points during the Week 4 slate.
