As my colleague Mike Miller reported earlier Sunday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday and proceeded to gaslight viewers about his—and the entire Democrat/Corrupt Media establishment’s—efforts to conceal Joe Biden’s obvious mental decline. Schumer went into full shameless mode and basically denied what he said even when host Kristen Welker played a clip of him saying it.

But Chuck had more to say, and when asked to analyze the Democrats’ electoral defeats in the November elections, when the GOP took control of the House, Senate, and Oval Office, he appeared to blame voters for being too stupid to realize how wonderful the Dems are.
We should regard this election, certainly it was a loss, but it’s also a challenge. And we did some things right against very severe headwinds. We kept four of those seven contested Democratic seats. But we did some things wrong. And we have to look in the mirror and see what we did wrong. And then there’s some things we didn’t do that we should have done.
One of the things we have to do is we must focus on the working families of America. [Emphasis mine.]
If one quote sums up the Democrat party, that one might just be it. He acts as if focusing “on the working families of America” is some great realization that he’s come up with after much deep thought. Wasn’t that your job in the first place? Shouldn’t that have been your number one priority at all times?
But here’s the kicker:
So, we did a lot of good things. But all too often, Kristen, we talked about the mechanics of the legislation and the details of the legislation. And we really didn’t show the kind of empathy and concern to average – or show enough of it – to average working families who didn’t realize how much we had done and how much we care for them.
Ah, that’s it. We’re just too dumb to “realize” how good we had it. We should have ignored inflation, the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, the Biden war on energy, the president calling Trump supporters “garbage,” the decline of the military, your assault on the Supreme Court—the list goes on and on—we should have looked past all that because there’s just so much good delivered by the Dems that we’re not capable of comprehending.

No, Chuck, your team didn’t come out on the short end because you’re so wonderful. The Dems lost all three power centers because your policies are terrible. I encourage you, however, to keep doing the same thing and hoping that stupid Americans will one day realize that you’re awesome.
I think, however, that you’re finding out the hard way that that ship has sailed.
