Charles Higgins has been named Director of Aurora Property in Brisbane and is looking to drive the sales expansion.

The Announcement:

Aurora Property Brisbane has welcomed Charles Higgins, as its new Director to spearhead sales growth.

As Director of Sales for Queensland, Mr Higgins will lead Aurora Property Brisbane’s unique proposition – supporting agents to scale their businesses and build rent roll equity without upfront or ongoing costs.

“Aurora Property Brisbane offers a unique opportunity to scale-up sales activity,” Mr Higgins said.

“We offer agents an immediate rental lead referral program that comes from Aurora Property’s synergy with Aurora Realty, helping agents secure quick market share growth across inner-city Brisbane.”

Aurora Property’s sales expansion will initially concentrate on inner-city Brisbane, where many markets experienced double digit growth over the last 12-months.

The expansion is timely, with Brisbane’s profile growing on the global stage as it prepares to host the 2032 Olympics and Paralympics.

Aurora Property Brisbane is affiliated with Aurora Realty – a leading property management firm managing over 11,000 properties across Queensland and New South Wales – and part of the national Aurora Group, which has been in operation since 2009.

The strategic decision to drive its Brisbane sales capabilities follows Aurora Group opening its third Sydney office in Neutral Bay recently, adding to existing offices in Cammeray and Epping.

As a growing independent, Mr Higgins said Aurora Property offered the opportunity for competitive commissions splits without unnecessary fees.

“We also don’t want a culture where agents compete against other agents from their own brand. We’ll support agents and teams to drive market share in key focus areas and protect their efforts by avoiding intra-brand overlap in those markets,” Mr Higgins said.

“We’re committed to providing a business-model where agents and teams can grow with flexibility and support from our Brisbane-based leadership team.”

Aurora Director, Summer Wang, said Mr Higgins’s decision to partner with Aurora Property was a vote of confidence in its vision for sale growth.

“We have ambitious plans to serve Brisbane’s affluent inner north, south, east, and west markets Charles’s experience and industry connections will help bring this to life,” Ms Wang said.

“I will continue to grow our property management offerings for landlords, ensuring strong integration with our sales division to provide a holistic customer experience.”
