Jayson Tatum is coming off a unique yet celebratory summer. The Celtics star began the festivities in June, helping lead his franchise to their 18th NBA championship. A few months later, he was in Paris with Team USA as they captured their fifth-straight Olympic gold medal.

At the same time, one could argue it was a summer of snubs for Tatum. Despite similar numbers, his teammate Jaylen Brown was named the 2024 NBA Finals MVP and in Paris, Tatum played sparingly as the United States hunted for gold. Despite the accolades he earned in recent months, Tatum will likely enter this season immensely motivated.
