The Boston Celtics are listing center Kristaps Porziņģis as probable to make his season debut against the Los Angeles Clippers in Boston, the team announced in its injury report Monday, five months after Porziņģis underwent left ankle surgery.

The big man missed 25 regular-season games and the majority of the playoffs last season as the Celtics went on to clinch their record-setting 18th NBA championship.

Porziņģis played through his injury in the team’s title-clinching victory but underwent offseason surgery to repair a tendon in his left ankle. He was expected to be out for five to six months.

Porziņģis scored five points and had one rebound in 16 minutes off the bench in the Celtics’ championship-sealing win. He averaged 20.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists through 57 regular-season games last season.

The Celtics are 14-3 and on a five-game winning streak, while the Clippers (11-7) have also won their last five straight games.

This will be updated.
