The Agency has expanded its footprint in Sydney’s Inner West with the addition of sister brands Callagher and Kellys to their growing network.

The strategic move brings over 1,500 property managements to The Agency’s portfolio, pushing their total management count above 12,000 properties.

This expansion follows The Agency’s 2023 acquisition of Devine Real Estate, further cementing their position in key areas from Annandale to Leichhardt, and Newtown to Chippendale.

Under the agreement, all Callagher and Kellys sales and property management teams will be rebranded to The Agency.

The portfolios were acquired by the MDC Trilogy Group partnership, expanding their existing Inner West Sydney portfolio to nearly 6,000 managements across Australia.

“Our presence is going from strength to strength right across Sydney’s Inner West,” said The Agency CEO of Real Estate Matt Lahood.

“This deal builds further on our acquisition in 2023 of Devine Real Estate and sees us cement a stronghold in key areas,” Mr Lahood said.

“This expansion will be highly beneficial in helping grow our already extensive local market presence through both our sales and property management services.”

Callagher and Kellys Principals, Cary Giezekamp and David Giezekamp, expressed enthusiasm about the merger.

“We are thrilled to be welcomed by The Agency and their extraordinary team,” they said.

“As a national brand they offer a unique opportunity to become part of something that will provide our clients with an added advantage.

“We have always respected The Agency leadership team and we can’t wait to learn and grow together.”
