A person of interest who may be the suspect who gunned down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson has been picked up by police near Pittsburgh, PA, according to authorities.

The unnamed individual not only matched the description and images of the suspected shooter; he was also reported to be carrying a gun, silencer, four fake IDs, and a manifesto when he was nabbed and taken into custody in Altoona, PA. These items were “consistent” with what authorities were looking for in the case, sources said.

Here’s more:

The NYPD was on its way to Altoona late Monday morning, sources said.

The bust came amid a massive manhunt for the masked shooter who laid in wait outside the Hilton on Sixth Avenue where Thompson, 50, was set to speak at an investor’s conference Wednesday morning.

The chillingly efficient gunman snuck behind Thompson on the sidewalk, pulled out what appeared to be a handgun with a silencer and calmly unloaded multiple shots at the CEO’s back, shocking surveillance footage showed.

The rest of the above tweet reads:

The NYPD is sending detectives to Altoona, the sources said. Altoona is in central Pennsylvania, about 100 miles east of Pittsburgh.

New video obtained by ABC News shows the killer waiting for Thompson moments before the shooting outside a Midtown Manhattan hotel last week. The video shows others pass by, and then, when the masked gunman sees Thompson, he runs across the street and opens fire.

The video, which has not previously been seen publicly, appears to support the police narrative that the shooter targeted Thompson in the Wednesday morning attack because he loitered while others wandered by.

This is a developing story. RedState will provide updates as they become available.

Update: 12:25 p.m. ET:  Authorities are now reporting that the person of interest was taken into custody at a McDonald’s in Altoona.
