Despite Trump’s best efforts to rein in federal spending and hold agencies accountable for the use of their funds for federal loans, grants, and non-profit assistance, a federal judge has halted the forward momentum of these endeavors spearheaded through Trump’s executive order.

A U.S. judge on Tuesday temporarily paused part of the Trump administration’s sweeping directive to pause federal loans, grants and other financial assistance, granting a win to advocacy groups who said the policy would be devastating.
U.S. District Judge Loren AliKhan ordered the Trump administration not to block funding to existing programs until Feb. 3 at a hearing in Washington, D.C., federal court.
The National Council of Nonprofits, the American Public Health Association, Main Street Alliance and SAGE earlier on Tuesday sued over the directive issued by the acting head of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget on Monday. It had been set to take effect at 5 p.m. EST (2200 GMT) on Tuesday.
It was all hands on deck among Democrats and the legacy media, who falsely alleged that Medicaid and food programs would be affected.

In her first press briefing on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt clearly confirmed that this would not be the case.
Judge Loren AliKhan is a Biden appointee. AliKhan is being lauded across social media for her action against President Trump’s agenda.
This is Judge Loren AliKhan. She just blocked Donald Trump’s unconstitutional attempt to freeze federal funding, including Medicaid.
