The members of Blackpink have dominated the music industry both as a group and as solo artists.
Since debuting in 2016 under the label YG Entertainment, Blackpink has become one of the most successful K-pop girl groups of all time, releasing two full studio albums and several EPs and singles over the years. The band even headlined Coachella in 2023, performing a set of the greatest hits including “How You Like That” and “Kill This Love.”
The group is composed of three South Korean members — Rosé (full name Roseanne Park), Jennie (full name Jennie Kim) and Jisoo (full name Kim Ji-soo) — and Thailand native Lisa (full name Lalisa Manobal).
Though the group has not officially disbanded, the four women have each launched their individual music and acting careers since the release of the group’s second studio album, BORN PINK, in 2022.
Several of the members have taken home multiple MAMA Awards trophies — one of the biggest K-pop award shows — for their solo work. Lisa, meanwhile, made history by becoming the first K-pop artist to win the Best K-pop category at the MTV Video Music Awards twice.
