Blake Lively Sued by Justin Baldoni’s Crisis PR Team

Blake Lively has been sued by Justin Baldoni’s crisis PR team amid the It Ends With Us costars’ ongoing legal battle.

According to documents obtained by Us Weekly, Lively, 37, was sued by Jed Wallace and his company, Street Relations Inc. Lively named both parties and Baldoni, 41, in her December 2024 complaint, where she sued the It Ends With Us director for alleged sexual harassment. He has denied all allegations. (TMZ was the first to report the news on Wednesday, February 5.)

In the latest lawsuit, Wallace accused Lively of including his firm in the accusations she made against Baldoni — but claimed she did not mention him or Street Relations in the lawsuit she filed days later. Wallace alleged that the “damage was done.”

Wallace claimed that Lively asked a judge to authorize the taking of his deposition. He alleged that she falsely accused him of being a subcontractor to a company called TAG to “assist them in their unlawful retaliatory social combat campaign” against Lively.

Wallace claimed that he suffered millions of dollars of harm and an additional sum of over a million in the projected loss to his company.

“Blake Lively made false statements to the press through a private administrative filing, claiming Mr. Wallace and Street Relations had sexually harassed her, retaliated against her, aided and abetted others who did the same, breached a contract with her and engaged in other improper conduct. Mr. Wallace, who is a very private person, has never met or spoken to Ms. Lively. Ever,” Chip Babcock, a partner in the Texas law firm, Jackson Walker, LLP, told Us in a statement. “He has not engaged in a smear campaign against her at any point in time. The decision to file this lawsuit to rightfully protect himself and his family was made after Ms. Lively not only filed against him first in Texas but, indicated she intended to name him in yet another lawsuit.”

Lively’s legal team responded to the filing in a statement to Us, which read, “Another day, another state, another nine-figure lawsuit seeking to sue Ms. Lively “into oblivion” for speaking out against sexual harassment and retaliation. This is not just a publicity stunt—it is transparent retaliation in response to allegations contained within a sexual harassment and retaliation complaint that Ms. Lively filed with the California Civil Rights Department. While this lawsuit will be dismissed, we are pleased that Mr. Wallace has finally emerged from the shadows, and that he too will be held accountable in federal court.”

After Lively filed her initial suit in December 2024, the director’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, called the accusations “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious” in a statement to Us. He claimed that Lively filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” about the movie’s production.

Baldoni fired back with his own $400 million lawsuit against Lively, Ryan Reynolds and publicist Leslie Sloane. Lively’s legal team reacted to the January lawsuit, sharing in part, “The strategy of attacking the woman is desperate, it does not refute the evidence in Ms. Lively’s complaint, and it will fail.”

The latest lawsuit comes days after Lively and Baldoni’s lawyers met for a pretrial hearing on Monday, February 3. In the 90-minute session, Judge Lewis J. Liman noted that the March 9, 2026 trial date could be moved up if the complaints continue to be “litigated in the press,” per Deadline.

In reaction to the first hearing, Lively’s team told Us in a statement, “We are pleased with the result of today’s hearing and eager to move forward immediately with discovery in this case. The Court granted our request that all attorneys in the matter actually follow the rule of law and not make any statements that could prejudice a jury. This case deals with serious allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation. We will hold the defendants accountable, and we are confident that once all the evidence is submitted in this matter, Ms. Lively will prevail.”

Baldoni’s lawyers, meanwhile, told Us, “Our clients are devastated and want to move the case along as quickly as possible. We just couldn’t be more pleased with how the case was handled today, how it was managed. We’re going to move as quickly as we possibly can and prove our innocence, in a world where sometimes people judge you before they give you a chance. And we’re going to change that.”

As for whether Lively and Baldoni will settle before trial, attorney Gloria Allred shared in the latest Us cover story that it’s unlikely. “Usually, lawyers will try to settle the case with a confidential settlement prior to [trial]. That’s about buying peace, but a lawsuit is like starting a [full-scale] war,” she explained. “[The case] may also settle at some point during this litigation, but it hasn’t so far, and I think it’s likely not to settle in the near future.”
