Bill Maher appears fed up with the juvenile tactics of Democrat members of Congress, explicitly skewering Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) for continually talking like a childish “podcaster.”
On Friday’s edition of “Real Time With Bill Maher,” the comedian analyzed the resistance party’s sad protest of President Trump’s joint address to Congress earlier in the week.
Maher first brought up Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), who described the antics involving cane waving, ping-pong paddles, walkouts, and pocket whiteboards as “a sad cavalcade of self owns and unhinged petulance.”
When that guy is your party’s intellectual and moral voice, you’ve got issues.
Profanity alert.
Maher then noted Crockett’s comments about Trump’s speech, where her professional analysis led to this conclusion: “Like, this is not America. This is a terrible nightmare. Somebody slap me and wake me the f**k up because I’m ready to get on with it.”

Maher feels, quite clearly, that Ms. Crockett’s behavior is not something becoming of a sitting member of Congress.
“On with what would be my first question, and also … This is like how a podcaster talks, or some s**t,” Maher fired back at the Texas lawmaker.
“‘F**k it,'” he continued mocking in a dumbed-down voice. “Can you imagine, oh I don’t know, Obama saying, ‘Man dude, this s**t is whack, uh f**k it. Just slap me. I’m f**king over it.'”
“I mean, come on, man.”

Unfortunately, this cavalcade of ignorance has been going on for some time now, as Crockett actively works to wrestle the title of dimmest bulb in Congress away from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Some of her more recent greatest hits include:
- Suggesting immigration enforcement is a means to send blacks “back to the fields.”
- Claiming attempts to achieve peace in Ukraine will lead to World War III.
- Responding to a reporter asking what she would say to Elon Musk if given the chance with “f**k off.”
Honestly, you might have to hand it to Crockett on that last one. Her two-syllable response is more than we could have hoped for.
As for her foray into trying to become a top podcaster instead of a respectable member of Congress, Crockett recently took part in two videos you’d have thought came from a pair of pre-teen TikTok stars.
There was the Kendrick Lamar song and dance and the uber-cringeworthy Mortal Kombat parody.

This simply is not a serious person. When Fetterman and Maher have to point that out, things have really hit rock bottom.
Maher concluded the segment by surmising the independent voter has been driven away from the Democrat party due to these aforementioned examples of silliness. That is why the losses keep piling up.
“The only thing you can do is be somebody who – a party who – when the independent voter looks at the scene, says ‘Oh, you know what, I don’t like what Trump is doing, but these people are crazier.”
Can the Democrats even put the brakes on the crazy train at this point?
