Joe Biden, while speaking about the assassination attempt on Saturday evening, said that former President Donald Trump should be able to conduct his rally without incident.

He condemned any such violence, and he called on everyone to condemn it.

Biden said he wanted to wait for the facts before calling it an “assassination attempt.”

He said he was going to try to call Trump to see how he was, but heard he was doing okay (under the circumstances).

As this is a developing story, RedState will provide updates as they become available.
