Joe Biden gave a brief softball interview to Al Roker on Monday prior to the Easter egg roll at the White House.
Can we still call it an “Easter egg roll” when they forbid any religious designs in their egg design art contest? So they’re effectively eliminating any real recognition of the holy day in the contest.

Roker asks what’s Biden’s message about why they should get out there and vote. He gave Biden the opportunity to campaign. Talk about the bias, it’s all evident here with this. The network should give the Republicans equal time. Biden’s answer was a slurring mess.

“Well, I think people are going to surprise people again,” Biden said.”They’re gonna engage. The overwhelming response when we’re out on the road,” he slurred.
He then claimed that they had “tens of thousands of people who contribute $5, $10 a pop.” Actually, his number of small donors has fallen from 2020 and former President Trump is leading him by a lot in that arena, 61 percent to 38 percent of their respective donations. So once again, what Biden said, is a bit unhinged from reality.
“We have people just waiting to get engaged. I think people are just so tired of the negativity,” Biden claimed. That’s incredibly ironic as he’s been the biggest purveyor of negativity, attacking and demonizing millions of Americans because they support his political opponent. Maybe he should stop trying to divide the country already.
When Roker asks him what is so special about opening up the White House for the event, Biden’s slurring is very bad. He’s barely coherent here as he tries to say it’s the “people’s house.”

Roker even gives him a chance to explain himself when his economy has hurt so many people. But instead of having a foot in reality, Biden bragged, “We have the best economy in the world.”

But no one believes you, Joe, because they know how much more is coming out of their pockets under you. When you keep denying that to their face, they don’t feel you understand what’s going on.

Translation: He’s trying to shift blame. Everything is bad because of the pandemic (did he even forget that word?), not because of Biden’s bad policies.
Then he also had another bizarre story when Roker asked him what his best memory from the White House was. Biden claimed it was having his kids jump in bed with him. He then corrected it to his grandkids.
“As far as your memory of this house … what are your favorite memories about this place?” Roker asked Biden.
“Our kids jumping in bed with us,” Biden initially replied, before correcting himself.
“Our grandkids, when they’re down here, just sneaking up and jumping in bed with us,” the president said. “That’s my favorite memory here. They love it.
Given the questions about his family and his weird behavior with kids, I’m not sure that that’s the cute story perhaps he thought it was. His “kids” were all adults, as were many of the grandkids. He has seven grandkids, including Navy Roberts, but there’s no indication that he’s even seen her yet.
