Have you wondered where Joe Biden is?

He seems to have receded into the background since he was shoved to the side by the power-hungry Democrat elites. That alone is insulting to the American people, as though we’re just supposed to accept his impaired presence after all this. The Democrats and the MSM went all in on talking about his cognitive decline to get him out of the race, yet at the same time, want to tell us he can continue to occupy the Oval Office, and he’s so great he should be on Mount Rushmore. Just suspend all logic if that doesn’t make any sense to you.

But this has just increased the talk of who is really running the country. This isn’t a shared job.

This weekend, he was on yet another vacation in Rehoboth Beach. He usually has taken most of August off in the past, so I fully expect more vacation in the month. Biden left Thursday and came back on Monday, then went to an event about cancer in New Orleans on Tuesday.

On the way out to New Orleans at Joint Base Andrews, reporters were able to ask him a few questions, and his answer told us exactly who is running things.

“What do you have to say about what’s happening in Russia and Ukraine? Have you spoken with anyone in the Ukrainian government?” he was asked by a reporter.

“I have spoken with my staff,” Biden replied. “On a regular basis, probably every four or five hours, for the last six or eight days…We’ve been in direct contact, constant contact with the Ukrainians. That’s all I’m going to say about it while it’s active.” Oh, goody, don’t you feel reassured that the unelected staff is taking care of things while Joe lounges at the beach? But this is where we are now.

Biden was also asked about where things stood with a potential ceasefire deal. He’s been saying for months that they were close, and he was working on it. But again, there was nothing — it was all just talk.

“It’s getting hard. We’ll see what you, we’ll see what Iran does, and we’ll see what happens if there’s any attack. But I’m not giving up,” Biden said. He said it was his “expectation” that Iran would hold off on a retaliatory strike on Israel if a ceasefire deal was reached. No chastisement of Iran, and meanwhile, has he responded to the attack on the US at Al Asad base in Iraq in which Americans were injured?

He was also asked as he was leaving the White House if he would attend a Trump inauguration. He seemed to indicate he would, claiming he had “good manners, unlike him [Trump].”

He seems to have forgotten about the raft of Democrats — nearly 70 of them — who sat out Trump’s inauguration and treated him like he wasn’t a legitimate president. I think all the people who Biden has called all kinds of names, including the millions of Americans he called “extremists,” might disagree with him on his “manners.”

The reporter also called him out on his attack on former President Donald Trump, calling him a danger to national security. The reporter reminded Biden about his own admonition to people to calm their language. Biden claimed what he said was “just a statement, a factual statement.” No, it’s not a factual statement. It’s false and hypocritical when he’s telling others to stop divisive language, yet he’s one of its biggest purveyors. He doesn’t care if he’s inciting people against Trump. If he did care, he wouldn’t continually be tossing out this kind of language.

Meanwhile, it says something when the incoherent Joe Biden, even on his constant vacation, is able to answer more questions than Kamala Harris.
