Hot off her Album of the Year win for her 2024 country record, Beyoncé announced the dates for her upcoming Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour. “SHE COMING,” the singer captioned a Monday, February 3, Instagram post revealing that she will be playing shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, London, Paris, Houston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas.

Specific tour dates were released via Beyoncé’s website. She kicks off the tour with four L.A. shows from April 28 through May 7 and concludes with two Atlanta concerts on July 10 and 11.

Beyoncé kicked off the new year with a major announcement — and plans for a new tour.

The singer, 43, revealed via Instagram on Saturday, February 1, that she will be hitting the road for the Cowboy Carter Tour later in 2025. She posted a video clip of an LED sign that bore the concert’s name, followed by an image of herself with bleached-blonde hair. Further details of the tour have yet to be revealed.

Beyoncé first teased her secret announcement in December 2024 after her Christmas Day halftime show at NRG Stadium in Houston during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game, which aired live on Netflix. In an Instagram post shared at the time, she sat atop a horse in a western ensemble while waving an American flag in a circle around her. The screen then went black before flashing “1.14.25” in red lettering.

She added the simple caption, “Look at that horse,” which are lyrics from her Cowboy Carter song “Sweet Honey Buckiin’.” In light of the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, Beyoncé postponed the announcement until Saturday.

Fans quickly started speculating about what Beyoncé had up her sleeve, sharing theories about everything from Act III of her trilogy project to a Cowboy Carter tour.

For years Beyoncé has been immersed in a lengthy creative process. She previously confirmed in July 2022 that she was working on a “three-act project” that took three years to make amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Her 2022 album, Renaissance, was referred to as Act I and featured the singer leaning into dance music.

“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world,” Beyoncé wrote in a July 2022 message on her website, referring to the global pandemic and the racial reckoning sweeping the globe. “It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment, a place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”

Beyoncé subsequently embarked on the Renaissance World Tour in 2023 and released a Renaissance concert film that December.

It’s Beyoncé’s rodeo, and everyone’s invited! Beyoncé, 42, dropped Cowboy Carter on Friday, March 29, the second installment in the trilogy that began with Renaissance in 2022. The country-flavored album lassoed in stars from all across the music world to help make it one of the year’s biggest pop culture events. From Dolly Parton to […]

In March 2024, Beyoncé ventured into Act II with the debut of her Cowboy Carter country album.

“It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed … and it was very clear that I wasn’t,” she wrote via Instagram at the time, seemingly referring to how she was allegedly treated during and after her appearance and performance at the 2016 CMA Awards. “But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive. … The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me. Act II is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work.”

Nine months after Cowboy Carter’s release, Beyoncé performed songs from the album for the first time — including “16 Carriages,” “Ya Ya,” “Levii’s Jeans” and “Texas Hold ‘Em” — during her Christmas Day halftime show.

Cowboy Carter later received 11 Grammy nominations at the Sunday, February 2, award show, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album.
