The elite in the RE/MAX sales force have shaken off early winter chills to warm up while experiencing three days of professional stimulation at the Platinum + event.

RE/MAX Australia invites its top performers to participate in a forum of shared knowledge and experiences each year.

RE/MAX Director, Joel Davoren, said the event, with its underlying theme of excellence in a competitive landscape, was designed around inspiring speakers, entertaining activities and unforgettable experiences.

“We identify that hot markets, low stock and other current factors put pressure on our agents to maximise every opportunity, for both the sake of their clients and their own business,” he said.

“We sought to address this and also give our ‘best of the best’ the opportunity to expand their business horizons.”

Lana Samuels, Sales Director at WHITEFOX Real Estate, opened day one.

Her strong emphasis on client experience came through clearly as she shared her inspiring journey to success.

RE/MAX Australia Operations Director, Josh Davoren, spoke on the ‘thrills and threats’ of the AI revolution, sharing with the group the technology developments of just the past few weeks.

He gave tips on practical uses available right now to help their businesses and also what elements of such exciting technologies are just a distraction.

Award-winning broker-owner, Kathy Sweeney, posed the question: Is it a short game or long game?

She expounded on the key strategies of her business model, branding and the client experience.

“Time favours those who play the long game and do the right thing each and every day,” she said.

“Small day wins over a long period of time can equate to stunning success.”

High achievers, Travis Gill and Brooke Caple, joined Lana Samuels for a panel session on client experience to round out the first day.

Shane Beaumont, a multi-million-dollar agent from Realmark, Perth, opened day two, revealing his real estate journey and detailing how he manages to transact 150 properties per year.

REA Group’s Andrew Turner and Troy Dowse shared their industry insights and advanced tools to optimise property listings.

A lively open forum brought the formal program for day two to a close.

Then it was all about style at the White Party held at The Lodge, Canna Beach Club.

The annual Platinum + Forum is provided exclusively for RE/MAX high achievers and is a ‘by invitation only’ event.

“Not all invited could make it but around 40 soaked up the beautiful location, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort,” Joel Davoren said.

“We seek out memorable spots each year, but we also produce an event that reminds our high achievers it is always possible to improve and take their business to the next level.”
