When it first began back in February 2023, many believed (or hoped) the fling between Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny was just a drop in the pan, another celebrity tryst that would barely last longer than the first round of headlines surrounding it. Now, it’s been well over a year, and clearly, it’s still going strong. The model and singer continue to pop up together, and there’s no denying that something is going on between them. Both parties have remained tight-lipped about their romance but, in the meantime, keep track of everything we know about the couple, from that first kiss back in February to now.
May 2024:
After rekindling their relationship during the Met Gala, Jenner and Bunny were spotted together in Miami in late May. The pair dined at Bunny’s restaurant Gekko and were photographed leaving a hotel via an underground garage. Jenner also supported Bunny’s Orlando concert earlier in the month on May 17th.
On May 6th, the pair cozied up during a Met Gala after party in New York City.
“Kendall and Bad Bunny are still in contact and spend time together when they can,” an insider told ET. “There’s a strong connection between them whenever they’re together and they have the same chemistry that they’ve always had.”
“They’re having fun for now, but are hoping to figure things out in a way that makes sense. They’re not necessarily back together or an exclusive item, but there is definitely still a vibe between them. Neither of them feels any pressure and appreciate that they can enjoy space when they want. It’s casual, easy, and comfortable between them.”
January 2024:
Just a few weeks following their split, Jenner and Bunny reportedly spent New Year’s Eve alongside one another. “Kendall’s friends aren’t surprised whatsoever that she’s seeing Bad Bunny again,” a source said at the time. “They figured this would happen because she has a habit of going back to exes. It’s not the type of situation where they’re fully back together, but they have hung out a few times since breaking up last month.”
December 2023:
On December 16th, news broke that the couple had gone their separate ways. “There’s no bad blood,” the insider said. “They are even still in contact. Their relationship had been rocky due to their busy schedules.”
November 2023:
Jenner sparked break up rumors on November 14th. She shared an image of a sunset to her Instagram with the caption “what’s meant for me, will simply find me,” causing fans to speculate that she had split from Bunny.
Later that month, an anonymous source seemed unsure about the future of Jenner and Bunny. “Kendall’s friends don’t think she’ll be with Bad Bunny forever. Despite the breakup rumors, they are still seeing each other, but [Kendall’s pals] don’t see a huge spark between them or any long-term potential. If Kendall’s happy, then they’re happy for her, but they’ve seen her happier before in past relationships.”
October 2023:
After doing their thing on Gucci’s front row, the pair were unveiled as faces of the brand’s latest campaign. They posed paparazzi-style in candid photos that showed off the brand’s monogram luggage pieces.
After Bunny’s SNL performance on the 22nd, he was seen exiting an after party with Jenner. The couple were also seen on a brunch date on October 30th where an eyewitness described them as “being cute and affectionate.”
September 2023:
On September 22nd, Jenner and Bunny went front row official during Gucci’s Milan Fashion Week show. Jenner sported a no pants trench coat while Bunny wore a white button down and jeans.
Bunny also defended his right to privacy when it concerns his relationship during a Vanity Fair interview. “They don’t know how you feel, they don’t know how you live, they don’t know anything, and I really don’t want them to know,” he said. “I’m not really interested in clarifying anything because I have no commitment to clarify anything to anyone. I am clear and my friend Jomar [Dávila] is clear and my mother is clear. They are the only ones to whom I have to clarify anything. As for Juliana Dominguez from Mississippi [a random fan name], I have nothing I need to clarify to her. Never. About anything.”
August 2023:
Jenner and Bunny took their date night shenanigans to Drake’s L.A. concert. They were spotted, of course, in matching leather looks and getting rather cozy throughout the night. Fans captured the couple laughing, smiling, and engaging in adorable PDA (with Kim Kardashian sitting right next to them).
July 31, 2023:
Another date night spotting came in Los Angeles when the couple were spotted leaving one of the city’s many eateries. This time, Jenner spiced things up in a black sheer top and bralette while Bunny kept his casual streak going in a leather jacket and pants.
July 26, 2023:
After an incognito month, Jenner and Bunny have reemerged for another L.A. night out (at what appeared to be the same sushi spot they ate at last month). The singer and model opted for black looks, Kendall going with a midi dress and Bunny choosing a denim jacket and pants.
July 20, 2023:
After vowing to keep their relationship private, things are “becoming more serious” between the couple, a source told Entertainment Tonight. “Kendall and Bad Bunny are still hanging out and having a great time with each other. Things are definitely progressing between them,” the insider noted. “Their relationship is on the upswing. They are still keeping things light, but they are both super into each other and have a ton of chemistry. Their friends and families are really happy for them and like them as a couple.”
June 21, 2023:
Jenner and Bunny finally commented on their relationship in two newly released interviews. Well, sort of. In speaking with WSJ. Magazine, Jenner said she has “no comment” on her relationship status but reiterated that she wants to keep things private. “I try [to] find the balance of keeping things private and keeping things sacred, [and] also not letting the unfortunate frustration and stress of everyone trying to get in on it stop me from enjoying my side,” she said. “I’ll go out of my way to do things as privately as possible because I just think that that’s the healthier way of dealing with relationships anyway.”
Bunny echoed Jenner’s sentiments when speaking to Rolling Stone. “I know something is going to come out,” he explained. “I know [people are] going to say something. People know everything about me, so what’s left for me to protect? My private life, my personal life,” he tells the outlet. “That’s the only answer. In the end, the only thing I have is my privacy.”
June 20, 2023:
After remaining fairly low-key for the past month, Jenner and Bunny were again spotted in Los Angeles. The couple were joined by friends for what seemed to be a sushi date night. While they both chose white t-shirts, Jenner spruced hers up with a pair of blue snakeskin pants.
May 14, 2023:
After touching back down in Los Angeles, the model and rapper went out for a glitzy dinner date in Santa Monica. And it seems their fascination with matching looks continued over from their appearance just two days ago. They both wore all-black leather looks—Kendall in a trench coat and kitten heels and Bunny in chunky boots and a buttoned jacket.
May 12, 2023:
Jenner and Bunny went even bigger after their Met Gala appearance when they attended the Los Angeles Lakers game together. The couple seemed to be in good spirits—they were seen chatting and smiling throughout the game. They also coordinated their footwear choices, with each opting for a pair of snakeskin boots.
May 1, 2023:
The couple seemed to make things semi-official during the First Monday in May. Although they did not make a joint appearance on the Met Gala’s red carpet, they made sure to meet up for one of the night’s many afterparties. Jenner chose a sheer Nensi Dojaka look (inspired by ‘90s Chanel) while Bunny kept things simple in a collared jacket and pants.
April 29, 2023:
Naturally, Jenner and Bunny had to hit up celebrity hotspot Carbone while in the Big Apple. For the occasion, Jenner wore an ultra-mini Blumarine skirt and asymmetrical top while Bunny opted for a yellow and black bomber. Afterward, they headed uptown to the very scene-y Pergola to finish off their date night.
April 26, 2023:
Jenner and Bunny switched their horseback rides for a Bugatti whip after leaving Tyler, The Creator’s L.A. concert. The pair kept things fairly low-key (aside from the swarm of paparazzi as they left the venue) in coordinating white t-shirts.
April 16, 2023:
The couple sent shockwaves through the Californian desert when they were spotted attending the Coachella music and arts festival together. Jenner was seen supporting her rumored romance on stage as he slightly hinted at their relationship during his set, saying “People think they know the lives of famous people—but they don’t. They don’t know what we feel, what we live through. They will never know what a heart can feel. Don’t believe everything you hear.” For the remaining two days of the festival, the pair were spotted together on multiple occasions.
April 4, 2023:
After staying out of the spotlight for a few weeks, Jenner and Bunny emerged again, this time on horseback. The singer and model were spotted going for a ride together at the Hidden Hills Equestrian Center. According to TMZ, they took turns on the horse and even rode together at one point. Jenner is an infamous celebrity horse girl, and has claimed that at one point her only friends were her horses. So, if she’s introduced Benito to her equines, that probably means its getting serious.
March 14, 2023:
According to Us Weekly, “things are not official between Kendall and Bad Bunny, but they’re seeing each other on a regular basis and getting to know each other better.” At this point, though, Jenner’s feelings are apparently “starting to grow” after “spending more time” with the singer.
“It’s not super serious, but she likes him and is open to seeing where things go with him,” the source continued. “Kendall appreciates how he treats her with respect and he makes her laugh.”
March 12, 2023:
While Jenner attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party solo, she met up with Bunny later in the night at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s super private event at Chateau Marmont. They were even seen leaving in the same car together at four in the morning.

Entertainment Tonight provided another status update, reporting that the pair is taking “things slow for now and seeing where things go in the future.” Apparently, they “both really like each other and are just hanging out and having a good time. They get along very well and have mutual friends, so the people around them really like them together. Her family is supportive of their relationship. Everyone is happy that Kendall’s happy.”

Weeks after they first sparked dating rumors, Kendall and Bunny headed to Sushi Park in West Hollywood with some friends, including the model’s younger sister, Kylie. When leaving the restaurant, the paparazzi caught Kendall and Bunny embracing in a hug and kiss before parting ways.
February 20, 2023:
Just like with any burgeoning celebrity couple, it was only a matter of time before the People reports came in. A week into the “relationship,” the site is reporting that Jenner and Bunny are “spending time together” after “they were introduced by friends.”
“She likes him and is having fun,” a source told People. “He is different from guys that she dated in the past. He is very charming.” According to Entertainment Tonight, the feelings are reciprocated by Bunny. “Kendall and Bad Bunny are attracted to each other and definitely have a flirty vibe,” a source said. “It’s been fun for both of them so far.” ET stressed, though, that it is “not serious and the two are having fun.”

The relationship between Jenner and Bunny has quickly moved on from the club to a formal date as the pair was seen leaving the same restaurant (albeit separately and from different exits). Justin and Hailey Bieber were also seen departing the restaurant at around the same time, leading many to assume the foursome was on a double date.
February 16, 2023:
Instagram gossip monger DeuxMoi shared a tip that a “single, famous model sister was seen playing tonsil hockey with Bad Bunny at a private L.A. club last night.” Many oscillated between the woman in question being Gigi Hadid or Jenner, but in the end, the human behind DeuxMoi revealed on her podcast that it was, in fact, Jenner. Apparently, there were witnesses to the make out session, which occurred at the Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood over President’s Day weekend.
