Can you describe the style of your home in one sentence?

Midcentury chic.

What is one kitchen item that you use every single day?

Coffee maker.

Do you have a favorite gadget or appliance or piece of technology in your home?

I don’t have an Alexa or anything like that, so I’m a little old-school. I do have a TV. I don’t know if that’s a gadget but we love to watch TV.

Do you have a bedtime ritual?

I do, yes. I definitely love to take a shower because I was once told that if you take a shower at night, you just let the stress come off your body and let it drain through the drain. Just let it all go. I also have my line Being Frenshe, which includes bath products with mood boosting scent technology. The lavender cloud scent is what really gets me into, “Okay, it’s bedtime.” Also, I always made fun of the movies where the actress puts lotion on her hands before bed, but that’s me now. I have a really nice hand lotion I use, and I like to just set myself up to have a really good sleep because I have been someone who has suffered with insomnia in the past. So it really is about creating a ritual for yourself. Sometimes I’ll do a meditation before bed to really bring down my nervous system.

What is your ideal bedding setup?

I’m a Parachute girl. I just love Parachute. I love linen. I love the simple look and I love their colors. I’m not huge on having tons of pillows, except while I’m pregnant. I’m one of those people that loves to have a freezing cold room at night and so does my husband, thankfully. I love to be in the covers.

What is your favorite room in your house and why?

The bedroom because it feels very much like a spa. It’s very neutral and calming, and there’s bamboo outside the window, and it’s just a really safe place. I love to meditate here.

Do you have any items in your home that you brought back from a trip?

When Chris and I first got engaged, we went to this interactive theater experience called Sleep No More in New York, and they have these little playing cards. The whole point is that when you go with a group, you pick out a card, and then basically, you’re supposed to be split up based on what card you got. We had just gotten engaged and our number is eight. We got engaged on August 8th. We got married on September 8th. We both pulled the eight of hearts, so we weren’t split up in the experience, and we thought that was so wild. So we kept them and we framed them, and it’s always been just something that we have in our living room or on the wall somewhere.

Is there an object in your house that has extra sentimental value?
