The Announcement:
McGees Property’s Andrew Wilson has earned one of the highest accolades in South Australian property, named Salesperson of the Year – Commercial and Industrial at the Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA)’s Awards for Excellence.
The award caps off a year for Mr Wilson that has seen him transact a number of the state’s key deals, including the $25.5 million off-market sale of the former DHL site in Pennington – one of Adelaide’s biggest industrial transactions in 2024.
Together with Michael Dimasi, Mr Wilson negotiated 45 sales transactions totalling circa $119 million in the 2024 financial year.
This year has also seen Mr Wilson made Partner at McGees Property.
“Andrew prides himself on trying to add as much value as possible throughout any transaction,” McGees Partner James Juers said.
“McGees Property is immensely proud of Andrew, and pleased that he has been recognised for his hard work, and his commitment to his role and dedication to the real estate industry, which sees him deliver excellent outcomes for his clients.”
McGees Property Partner, Simon Lambert, highlighted the significance of the award.
“McGees Property has continued its evolution in its 40th anniversary year, growing the agency with key appointments and negotiating landmark deals,” Mr Lambert said.
“This award represents Andrew’s fantastic work, as well as the entire team’s dedication and achievements.”
“I’m incredibly honoured to receive this award from REISA,” Mr Wilson said.
“This recognition reflects not only my efforts but also the invaluable support of Michael Dimasi and our outstanding support team — Cathy, Nerida, and Liberty — whose consistent efforts are key to our success.
“Together with Marco Onorato, Ross Christodoulou, Michael Dimasi, and Daniel Scinto, we look forward to continuing to position McGees as a market leader in the industrial space.”
Other key deals Mr Wilson has recently negotiated include a $10.6 million sale in Camden Park, and sales of circa $10 million at Santa Parade and $7.5 million at Eastern Parade in Port Adelaide.
