Andrew Jakins and Cameron Bailey take out Harcourts International top honours

Andrew Jakins and Cameron Bailey have taken the top honours at the annual Harcourts International awards held on the Gold Coast.

With close to 6500 sales consultants across the globe, Nutrien Harcourts Goondiwindi local Andrew Jakins joined seven-time winner Cameron Bailey, from the Harcourts Gold group Papanui office, as decorated award winners at the annual Harcourts International awards gala event held this week on the Gold Coast.

The awards were the culmination of HX2024, an exhilarating two-day conference featuring workshops, inspiring speakers, the latest Hall of Fame inductee and the Golden Globes of real estate awards celebrating local Australian and International talent within the business.

Proceeding the Awards was one of the most anticipated moments of the final evening – the induction of the newest member into the Harcourts Hall of Fame. 

This honour is reserved for individuals who have made significant, long-lasting contributions to Harcourts and the real estate industry. 

The inductee has exemplified the core values of Harcourts-People First, Doing the Right Thing, Being Courageous, and Fun and Laughter-throughout their distinguished career. 

With these being the barometer for consideration, the decision to induct Harcourts Property Centre Managing Director, Aaron Brooks, was an easy decision.

Since beginning his real estate career in 1992, Mr Brooks has achieved amazing success as well as playing a key role in Harcourts growth.

“Aaron Brooks stands here as a significant part of the fabric of Harcourts’ rich history,” Mike Green, Managing Director, Harcourts International said.

“An extremely worthy Hall of Famer, over many years he has demonstrated time and time again the Harcourts vision, determination, passion, and unwavering enthusiasm to go the extra mile and make things possible in the most incredible way.”

Following the Hall of Fame, the International Awards began. Top Individual International Sales Consultant (works alone) was Andrew Jakins, Nutrien Harcourts, Australia, and Cameron Bailey, Harcourts Gold, Papanui, New Zealand was awarded Top International Sales Consultant (works with a team).

Top International Property Management Listing Individual was Anna Keys of Harcourts Rata & Co. out of Victoria, Australia. 

Rata & Co also took out the awards for Top International PM Growth and PM Revenue.

Top International Franchise went to Cooper & Co Real Estate out in Auckland New Zealand, a large-scale franchise group who have been at the top of their game for decades.

Clare Seamer, Harcourts Mandurah, won the Individual International Customer Experience Award, with Harcourts Titans from South Africa winning the Office International Customer Experience Award.

With Harcourts offices from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA in the top 50, the Top International Office Award went to Harcourts Gold, Papanui, New Zealand, with Harcourts Mandurah, Australia as runner up. 

Harcourts Gold were also named Top International Office – Revenue”

“Now in eleven countries across the world, the International Awards reflect Harcourts’ strong standing in the international marketplace,” Mr Green said.

“A great climax to draw the curtain down on HX, congratulations to all award winners.”

The Harcourts HX Conference is an annual gathering that brings together the brightest minds and leading figures in the real estate industry alongside members of the Harcourts network.

Attendees participated in a series of workshops designed to share best practices, innovative strategies, and pivotal insights. 

Esteemed speakers delivered keynote addresses on emerging trends and the future landscape of real estate.
