Remember when we told you that Voyage into Genre was hitting the road? Well, it happened! Over five days, four intrepid authors—Andrea Hairston, Veronica Roth, Rebecca Thorne, and Nghi Vo—set off on a cross-country quest from Seattle to New York… and had a blast, from the sounds of things. I was there for the New York event (you can hear me laughing throughout, sorry-not-sorry) and it was truly a magical moment of community-building.

I’m delighted to share with you all this live ep, featuring excerpts from the tour kick-off at Seattle’s Third Place Books (moderated by TJ Klune) and from the last night at New York’s Greenlight Books (moderated by P. Djeli Clark)—come along for some wide-ranging conversations about genre, art, hauntings, hopefulness, and more!!

And we’ll see you again soon—season four of the podcast proper is coming later this summer!

Til then,
Drew
