Alex Pfeiffer became the youngest goalscorer in NWSL history in a thriller, finishing the Current’s fifth goal in the team’s inaugural match at its new stadium.
Pfeiffer came on as a second-half substitute and latched on to a chested-down layoff at the top of the box in the 68th minute to make the score 5-1 Kansas City.
