Hilaria Baldwin didn’t let something as simple as husband Alec Baldwin‘s allergy keep her from several cats.
In Us Weekly‘s exclusive clip from The Baldwins series premiere, which premieres Sunday, February 23, Alec, 66, recalled the incident that confirmed he had a cat allergy.
“My friend Ronnie had cats when I first went to Los Angeles in 1983. I would stay with Ronnie on a futon but it had a frame,” he explained. “Underneath the frame on the floor, you could see enormous tumbleweeds of cat hair.”
As Alec was telling his story, the camera panned to Hilaria, 41, who seemed very amused. Alec noted that the realization came from a serious health scare.
“I had an asthma attack and I had to go to the hospital. I got a shot of epinephrine from the doctors there,” he continued to explain while holding a dog. “I said to my wife, ‘We can’t have cats ever.’ She goes out and buys 4 cats.”
He added: “So everywhere I go and every corner I turn, there is a cat. They’re like, ‘Greetings.’ And I’m like, ‘S—.’”
