McGrath Estate Agents has announced the opening of McGrath Ipswich, with Adam Boettcher appointed as Principal and Dane Phillips as Sales Manager.

The new office will operate with an experienced team of 16, servicing the area from Pine Mountain in the north, to Yamanto in the south, to Barellan Point in the east, to edge of Leichhardt in the west.

Chris Mourd, Head of Franchise Network for McGrath, welcomed the expansion into the growing market.

“We are delighted Adam and Dane have chosen to spearhead the McGrath brand in Ipswich,” Mr Mourd said.

“As one of Brisbane’s oldest established cities, Ipswich provides a rich tapestry of property from historic homes surrounding the CBD to substantial lifestyle blocks, all within 40 kms of Brisbane CBD.

“Ultimately, Ipswich provides a balance between lifestyle, affordability and close proximity to Brisbane.

“We see enormous growth potential here.”

Located just 30 minutes to Brisbane CBD, Ipswich has taken the mantle as Queensland’s fastest growing city, with a $250 million investment and renovation to the Nicholas Street Precinct of the Ipswich CBD.

“This is currently a very exciting market for property,” Mr Boettcher said.

“Ipswich has seen growth of 29.8 per cent over the last 12 months.

“The average home price sits at around $760,000.”

“We are seeing many buyers come from outside our Ipswich city limits and many are Brisbane based first home buyers who have been priced out of that market.”

With over 14 years in the industry, and the last three years at the helm of Boettchers Estate Agents, Mr Boettcher’s decision to partner with McGrath was strategic.

“In my view, McGrath has always been the benchmark within the real estate industry,” he said.

“Once Dane and I started the consultation process we found our businesses/values aligned and we are both excited to be a part of that.”

McGrath Ipswich launches with a rent-roll of 130 properties under management.
