A Waymo robotaxi got stuck making a U-turn in front of Vice President Kamala Harris’ motorcade Friday evening in San Francisco.

ABC 7 reported that a San Francisco police officer had to manually drive the vehicle out of the way.

Waymo has not yet responded to TechCrunch’s questions, including what went wrong on the backend and how long the vehicle was stalled before the police officer moved it.

This is not the first time Waymo autonomous vehicles have come under fire for such malfunctions. Earlier this year, six Waymos blocked a freeway ramp after one stalled, and San Francisco residents had to deal with a nightly honk-a-thon at one of the company’s parking lots. Waymo also recalled its software after a robotaxi hit a telephone pole.

Federal regulators are investigating tens of reports of the robotaxis crashing or potentially violating traffic safety laws.
