Bill Caleo, cofounder of The Jackson Home Company, tells AD PRO by email: “500 East Simpson exemplifies our dedication to exceptional craftsmanship, materials, and functionality, all brought to life by a team of local builders, architects, and artists. Through the lens of Jackson Hole’s distinct Western character, we embrace the same design principles in Wyoming that we do in New York: attention to natural light, local talent, hand-carved craftsmanship, and materials that grow more beautiful over time.”

Jake Kilgrow of Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.

A Seattle tower is home to the Pacific Northwest’s first robotic EV charging system

As sustainability features become more and more attractive to luxury buyers, one Seattle condo building is making it easier than ever for its residents to make the switch to electric. Unveiled this month, Laconia Development’s 41-story tower, Spire, now has a robotic electronic vehicle charging system.

The new feature complements the building’s already-innovative garage complex, which has offered an automated parking system (APS) for residents since it opened in the summer of 2024. Drivers drop their car off in one of the building’s three parking bays, and once they’ve left the APS seamlessly transfers it to an empty spot. Now, the futuristic system will move electric vehicles to a spot with an EV charging station and automatically fuel them via a robotic arm. It’s currently capable of fully charging over two thirds of the garage’s capacity within a 24 hour period, but if demand grows in the future, it’ll be able to scale up to entirely EV-equipped spots.

“We’re setting a new standard for innovation and convenience in urban living,” Paul Menzies, CEO of Laconia, said in a statement shared with AD PRO. “This technology not only enhances the lifestyle of our residents by offering unparalleled ease and efficiency, but also reflects our commitment to pioneering sustainable and forward-thinking solutions for the future.”

Designed by VIA Architecture and located just a few blocks from the Space Needle, Spire’s assortment of one-to-three-bedroom apartments and penthouses are more than 80% sold.
