The left has been whipping up hate and fear against Elon Musk because of his involvement in the Trump administration and his effort to cut fraud, waste, and abuse with his DOGE work.
As a result, radicals have been attacking Teslas, Tesla dealerships, and Tesla charging stations with everything from vandalism to arson and even shooting up one of the stores.

On Friday, police in North Charleston, South Carolina got a call about a man who was attacking Tesla charging stations.

Officers were called to the Mellow Mushroom on Tanger Outlet Boulevard for a report of an arson in progress on Mar. 7 at 7:13 p.m., according to a North Charleston Police Department report.
When they arrived, witnesses explained a White man in a grey jacket/hoodie with a black face mask spray painted “F*** Trump, long live Ukraine” in red next to the Tesla charging stations near the area.
The man then made homemade Molotov cocktails out of beer bottles and threw them at the charging stations. People began calling 911, and the suspect fled on foot by the Zaxbys and toward the hotels behind it.

How insane is that? They think their hatred justifies them doing anything, even trying to terrorize people like this.
But the witnesses also observed that this turned out to be a bad idea for the suspect.
“Witnesses advised that the suspect had accidentally caught their own back on fire while throwing the devices,” the report states.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. And if he goes to a local hospital to get treated, they’re likely to figure it out.
Fortunately, no one else was hurt from the crazy attack. While there was damage to the stations, the fire department was able to put it out.
it also looks like he might have left behind some evidence because the police were able to get the glass from the homemade device “to use and test for fingerprints.” Again, not exactly a bright move by this suspect. I suspect he’s going to be tracked down soon.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is now also handling the case, so let’s hope they get this guy as well as the other radicals involved in these actions.

The president also bought a red Tesla to lend support to Musk, saying he was a “patriot” and shouldn’t be facing attack because he was helping his country.
So if the radical left thought this was going to lead to dissension or Musk backing off, it’s not working.
