The three-time world surfing champion, who purchased the 1,030 sqm double block at 291 Golden Four Drive, Bilinga, for $3.25 million in 2011, transformed the site into a rustic Hamptons-inspired retreat in 2014.

Once occupied by old beach shacks, the site now features a three-level main residence and a separate self-contained guesthouse.

The property, named Rolling Seas, boasts direct beach access, an infinity pool, a master suite with a private oceanview balcony, a yoga studio with sauna, a media room, wine cellar, loft bedroom, and a lift.

The separate guest cottage includes exposed brickwork, copper piping, an open-plan kitchen, and a private patio.

Having previously lived in the home, Mick later converted it into a high-end holiday rental, styled by Sydney-based Three Birds Renovations.

“The people that have come and stayed have been really positive,” Mick told realestate.com.au.

“Everyone from friends to clients says the same thing – it’s been so refreshing and so relaxing.”

Kollosche agent Troy Dowker, who is leading the auction campaign, emphasised the rarity of such an estate.

“There’s nothing else like it,” he said. “From Palm Beach south, you’d struggle to count a handful of comparable trophy homes like this.

“The land holding, the frontage, and the dual dwelling setup make it incredibly unique, not just on the Gold Coast but along the entire eastern seaboard.”

Troy highlighted Rolling Seas as both a spectacular home and a blue-chip investment opportunity.

“A property like this isn’t just about lifestyle – it’s a significant landholding in a tightly held beachfront market,” he said.

“Whoever buys it will not only enjoy an incredible home but will also be securing a blue-chip asset for the future.”

Mick, who shares two young children with partner Breeana Randall, has been active in the Gold Coast real estate market.

Last year, he sold his Tugun investment property ahead of auction for more than $3 million.
