The Israel-Hamas ceasefire always seemed tenuous at best—how do you believe what terrorists “agree to”? They have delivered the hostages in drip-drip fashion, with many of them horribly malnourished and in bad shape—and some of them tragically dead.

Israel’s patience is wearing thin, and they’ve announced that aid to Gaza will come to a stop:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has announced that aid will stop entering Gaza from today as the six-week ceasefire expires, in a move described by Hamas as “cheap blackmail”.

Under the terms of the truce, Israel was required to increase aid delivered to the war-ravaged strip.

But Mr Netanyahu’s office says Hamas’s decision to reject an extension of the temporary ceasefire has forced its hand.

Not only will Israel prevent the additional aid being offered, it will now stop all aid.

In response, Hamas released a statement on Sunday describing Mr Netanyahu’s decision as “cheap blackmail” and a “coup” on the ceasefire agreement.

If Hamas doesn’t stop playing their evil games, Israel promises repercussions:

The prime minister also addressed the nation Sunday and said there are still 59 hostages—both dead and alive—that need to be returned ASAP:

“Last night I held a security discussion with the participation of the Defense Minister, the faction heads, senior security establishment officials and the negotiating team. Upon the conclusion of the discussion, we decided on the following steps:

Israel adopts the framework of President Trump’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, for a temporary ceasefire for the Ramadan and Passover period.

We are fully coordinating with President Trump and his people.

According to the information that Israel has, Hamas is currently holding 59 hostages: Up to 24 are alive and at least 35 are deceased.

We are not giving up on anyone and we are determined to bring them all back home.

Israel is toughening its stance, but they are in an unenviable position. Negotiating with terrorists is like negotiating with snakes—at any moment they might turn around and bite you. If they had any humanity, they would release the hostages immediately—but they don’t, and they won’t.
