Kylie Jenner is reflecting on her best moments with her hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, who died earlier this week.
Jenner, 27, took to her Instagram Stories on Friday, February 28, to share a throwback video with Guerrero of the duo dancing and lip-syncing to Leon Bridges’ “River.”
Moments earlier, Jenner hinted that she was struggling to cope with Guerrero’s passing.
“Sleeping has been the hardest,” Jenner wrote via her Stories. “I love you @makeupbyariel.”

The Kardashians star also uploaded a screenshot of a seven-hour FaceTime Audio call with her makeup artist.
News broke earlier this month that Guerrero, who regularly styled Jenner’s locks, died at the age of 34.
“It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more,” a GoFundMe campaign launched by Guerrero’s sister, Gris, read. “Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top. Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly.”
Gris further noted at the time that their family was “taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home.”
While a cause of death has yet to be confirmed, a source told Us Weekly that Guerrero battled an illness while traveling in Dubai with client Jennifer Lopez.
“Everyone on his team did everything they could to get him to the doctors because he was not well,” Gris exclusively explained to Us earlier in February. “They told him he was not going to work, he should see a doctor and rest. And he wanted to come home.”

She added, “We have his paperwork from the hospital [in Dubai] and it was a very long flight and a lot in between and going on [to] the hospital [in the United States]. That’s part of why we are looking into his health more with what happened. As soon as he showed up [in Dubai], he was told you don’t look well, to sit down and rest. And if he didn’t get well, to go back to the hospital. [They told him], ‘We want you to take care [of] yourself.’”
According to Gris, there are still “unanswered questions” surrounding Guerrero’s illness and his subsequent passing.
Jenner, for her part, has been candid about her grief and even offered to pay for funeral expenses.
“Jesus was more than my friend — he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support,” Jenner wrote, in part, via Instagram. “I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter. Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend. The pain of losing you is just unbearable.”
