My grandfather used to say, about some of the less… brainy residents of northern Linn County, Iowa, where he lived and farmed his whole life, that “…the engine’s running, but nobody’s driving.” Some folks make you wonder if the engine itself isn’t firing on all cylinders.
This brings us to a TikTok user, @sarahcroberts, who admits, on camera, that she has been dodging paying her taxes for eight years and, in the same rant, calls for the assassination of DOGE chief Elon Musk. As is so often the case, Libs of TikTok brings us the evidence; as the saying goes, let’s go to the videotape!
U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin swooped in with a chuckle-inducing comment.
Mr. Martin is, of course, doing his job, and one doesn’t have to be a big fan of the IRS (honestly, who is?) to appreciate that, in this case, he will be initiating legal proceedings against someone who richly deserves it — and that threat may win her a little visit from the Secret Service, and possibly other charges.
And here you thought some leftist politicians were… challenged.

Look, going on a public platform that is known to be an intelligence-gathering tool for the Chinese Communist Party, failing to remember that the internet is forever, and using your real name as your screen handle, that’s dumb. Recording a video of yourself admitting to income tax evasion on that public platform? That’s dumber. Calling for the assassination of a public figure who works for the President of the United States of America, in the same video where you admitted to income tax evasion, on that same public platform that not only gathers intel for the CCP but is also forever — that’s a whole new level of dumb. That’s dumber than a box of rocks inside a bag of wet hair that’s been beaten with a stupid stick.
The left — and TikTok — sure seems to draw this kind of person.
